I think I have found what you are referring to. But dont be too quick to jump to conclusions. I am not even sure what this could possibly hope to achieve?
And this pony & handler are a team I have always admired in the ring, with pony looking relaxed and enjoying showing off.

There are some lovely pixs of my lad on there, thank you.
You did manage to catch a pic that we all wanted but noone else managed to get/be at the right angle for..... my friend wanted a front on pic of her cob rearing as he put his brakes on in front of the grandstand - brilliant pic and hes only got his near hind on the ground - full marks to sarah for sitting that one.

Not sure I should admit to having bred this one! Seriously though - this was only his 4th show under saddle as he has been poorly. Last time he was in the RW ring he was entire and in hand! I think he just bottled it. Bless - he'll be fine once he grows up. I'd love to see the other picture though

if I were to show in that ring, in that mud, with that many fit cobs, hanging onto a stallion I'd be needing more than what he had!!! thats if I have seen right and saw what he did have
there have been so many critisms about dress, about handling, etc etc nothing excuses bad handling but for what we see on TV up here it is some event, I do not known how they run the different sections up so well when its like that, hard enough in good conditions to manage at times
am also fed up reading about these cobs being pumped up full of feed fire breathing dragons, at such an event they have so much to deal with
I would just like to say as a very far away tv spectator it is a fantastic show of a wonderful breed and thank everyone who takes part - so much eye candy for a small time Welsh breeder to admire and apsire to

I saw the 'thing' happen... Each time it was lit, pony stared and put his ears forward at the flame.... Could be a coincidence? But also a good way to make your pony stand when there isn't any grass to coax him with
(Before you all shoot me down I'd never dream of doing it!)

I'd rather something small to get the horses attention than those who stand ringside and bang the fence sending all cobs within a 20m radius nuts

if you put the whole thing into perspective, this is nothing at all, look at those who neglect, those who over breed etc etc, I have come to conclusion recently with reading postings about showing on a whole that to often to critisise when time could be put into those who really need our help!!!
